Slipknot - All Hope is Gone

Slipknot are an enigma. Whatever the case, Slipknot are a rare and exceptional band, known for their attention-grabbing image with members of the band wearing convict romper suits and gruesome gimp masks. The band's apocalyptic lyrics are boiling with resentment and pour scorn on values and cultures of Western society - we will burn your cities down - bawls the gargoyle-faced lead singer. All Hope is Gone is an acquired taste. Moshpit metal-heads will love it, while others have just cause to fear the intimidating undertones. Slipknot may be controversial, but from a musical point of view they are entirely forgettable.
Some suggest their music incites hatred and prejudice among the impressionable.
Others say their blood-curdling beats provide an outlet for peoples' pent up worries and frustrations.
