Rage Against the Machine
'This is gonna be political' said Lucy ahead of Rages' long awaited return to Reading.
And of course it was, writes Laura Enfield.
They appeared from the darkness in Guantanamo Bay style jumpsuits, intent on stirring up the crowd of hardcore fans and innocent teenagers.
Gone are Zach's dreds, replaced by a wild afro but he bounded about the stage with trademark vigour.
Bullet in Your Head went down a storm. The highlight was Wake Up, during which the frontman launched into a tirade against George Bush and Tony Blair and urged people to continue making a stand against the Iraq war and 'Wake Up'.
Their return was triumphant and the crowd pulled them back with cheers for an encore.
